Blu-ray discs are the ultimate HD format, completely redefining everything you ever knew about the world
of digital entertainment. Blu-ray discs offer immense storage capacity of up to 50 GB. That’s more than enough
space to meet the demands of real High Definition entertainment with its huge range of options – including
1080p resolution at 24 frames per second playback.
The film world has
a new leading actor:
Blu-ray.
Bring original cinema-quality pictures to your home.
The BDP-LX70A delivers the kind of exclusive performance
you’ve only ever seen at the cinema. It offers
video playback at the ‘native’ 1080p resolution,
without tampering with the 24 frames per second cadence
with which the films were shot, mastered and stored on disc.
The fast lane to finer quality.
HDMI is a must-have interface for pristine quality. It enables the transfer of High Definition content with no
loss of quality. In addition, the Blu-ray disc player features KURO LINK – allowing you to operate it with your
KURO remote control.
Multimedia comes alive.
The Blu-ray disc player lets you play digital videos, digital still photos and compressed music files stored in your
home network. It is DLNA certified and provides you with easy access to digital media, for example
from PCs, running a DLNA-compatible digital media server. Extremely easy operation is ensured by
an intuitive on-screen Graphical User Interface and a user-friendly remote control. The Home Media
Gallery even lets you play back HD video content with up to 1,920 x 1,080p resolution.
The sound of High Definition.
It takes the right sound to convey the true intensity of a gripping movie scene. The BDP-L X70A
outputs the new lossless audio Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstream via HDMI to
your compliant AV amplifier. Put simply, you can now enjoy high-resolution images accompanied
by lush, studio-quality HD sound. True to the original and exactly as the sound engineer intended.
No home network? Play PC files directly from DVD.
Not everyone has a home network (yet). So, these users can not readily enjoy the multimedia content from
their PC files? Not with the BDP-LX70A: it supports a Disc Navigator function that enables playback of the
same content formats as via its Home Media Gallery network feature, but this time from DVD disc.
